PVAC is the "Best Local Place to Play Tennis" as chosen by the People's Choice Awards 2007, Petaluma Magazine. Our Tennis Pro, Chris Oakes, has been teaching and coaching tennis for over 25 years and has developed one of the most comprehensive tennis programs in the county. Private and group lessons are available throughout the year as well as tournaments, USA and USTA Leagues, and SNM Women’s Leagues.
Junior Tennis
Junior Tennis at PVAC is an ideal program for young people, from ages 4 to 17 years, who are interested in learning to become better tennis players, athletes, and individuals while HAVING FUN! All of our classes emphasize the important values of discipline, good sportsmanship, diligence, and respect for others while having a great time! These essential values are linked with closely supervised instruction from our Tennis Pros, who are specifically trained as educators and are excellent role models for the youth at PVAC.
While the focus of all our junior players is on the development of fundamental skills, we also introduce techniques and game strategies, exercise and fitness plans, and other more competitive elements for those who are ready and show an interest in greater challenges. Participants at every level will benefit from the activities that have distinguished our programs at PVAC for many years. PVAC is a great place for young people to learn life lessons and have a great time playing a sport they will be sure to love!
NEW! Junior Tennis Spring Clinics are open for registration.
